Minden's museums

The Minden Museum

MindenerMuseum bildAfter an extensive reconstruction the Minden Museum now shines in new splendour.
The interactiv city model ist the first step towards the new permanent exhibiton. Further sequences and information about the 1200 year old history of Minden is currently under development. Until its finalisation the visitors can discover and experience different alternating special exhibitons which are giving and insight of history, culture, the city and the area around. Even the houses of the museum themselves are telling interesting stories: you can admire sculptures of the Weser Renaissance as well as stucco ornaments or an elevator from the 16th century.
You can book guided tours through the special exhibitions at any time - even out of opening hours.
The Museum also offers familiy programs, museum educational activities and city rallies for children.
