Explore the environment on the marked walking and cycle tracks or enjoy the wonderful landscape viewing either from a boat or ship. The Weser-Bastau-route leading along the water and at the ship mill and the old-town-route  open a further possibility to you to make yourself a picture of Mindens objects of interest. Both routes are well signposted.

Alternation is provided by the numerous attractive outing destinations such as the core lock, visitor mine Keinenbremen and windmill Südhemmern, which you can reach with with the historical steam train or by ship.
