Minden was the first city to install QR codes in the city street cobbles in order to link real with virtual public spaces. Scan the QR code and experience history, culture and noteworthy information about the vicinity. In addition, shopping offers and the quickest route to get a coffee or beer are also displayed on your smartphone. And you wouldn’t want to miss any insider tips that have been passed down through the ages from old tales in the old town such as e.g. the Minden Schnurrviertel and its numerous sweet little shops.

The QR codes form a broad network throughout the entire public space of Minden’s town centre and guide users to information about the individual quarters of the town centre.
