Every two years the townscape Mindens is controlled by hundreds of citizens in the typical uniforms of the citizen battalion. The city is green decorated all in green: Minden celebrates free shooting.

Month for month the jazz club in Minden offers a program with international format in its premises at the king barrier. Once a year it takes place outside.
